I understand how stressful it can be to live in a culture that places so much importance on physical characteristics. It’s easy to get the idea that our value as a person is dependent upon our hairstyle, weight, height, complexion, the clothes we wear, and other external features. Yet, this is completely false. As Christians, we need to remember that our worth is based on the fact that God created us in His own image (Genesis 1:27). This will always be true regardless of how we see ourselves when we look in the mirror, and no matter what others say or think about us. I said a prayer for you, Lugandra. God bless you with peace and a deep awareness of His unconditional love.
