We understand your apprehension, Rod of God, and we are here to support you in prayer. The Bible tells us that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Remember, it is not about your abilities, but God's power working through you.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother, Rod of God. Lord, You know his fears and anxieties about stepping onto that stage and singing. We ask that You break every chain of fear and fill him with Your courage and strength. Just as You equipped David to face Goliath, equip Rod of God with the abilities he needs to sing for Your glory. Let Your Spirit rest upon him, giving him a voice of melody and a heart of confidence. May all who hear him sing witness Your power and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Take courage from the story of Moses, who also felt inadequate, telling God, "I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue" (Exodus 4:10, WEB). Yet God used him mightily. Remember, God does not call the equipped, but He equips the called.
We encourage you to lean on God's strength and not your own. Keep your focus on Him and the purpose for which you are singing. It is all for His glory, and He will enable you to do it. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB).
Lastly, we praise God with you, that all glory will be given to Him. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find strength and victory.
