Please Pray For Me! I just got a new job in which I am doing IT work. I am not an IT person!

Please pray for me. I just got a new job and learned that I am expected to do the work of an IT person. I am an administrative assistant! I work for a non-profit and I guess they are trying to save money by not hiring an IT person - I'm it! Tomorrow is my first day in the office with my co-workers who are expecting me to show them the systems. I took good notes but I am very unsure about my ability to do this. That said, GOD IS ABLE! I am asking Him to help me tomorrow. I believe that he gave me this job for a reason and I don't want to let God down. I am 61 and my short term memory is gone due to the anti-depression and anxiety meds I am taking. I am terrified! Thanks for reading all of this and for your love and prayers. Thank you!

Good job at asking for prayer, as God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble (James 4:6, etc)... Nothing more humbling than asking unknown brothers and sisters for help from God through prayer...

I have changed careers 6 times in 30 years (1] Food, Bev, Hospitality; 2) Inside Toyota and Lexus sales, 3), Telecom bringing in dedicated voice and data over IP and Frame delivering channel banks and hardware, 4), Cellular technology and smartphones,5), Dedicated Internet over CoAx Cable, 6), SOLAR sales and then ADDING BATTERY BACKUP, and have been blessed each time. My advice? STUDY... Spend time on internet looking up your company, use Wikipedia, study I.T., find a friend who will give knowledge for free (mentor/manager) and don't freak out if you blow something. May God reward your humility in requesting (and admitting) you are over your head!

Study, drink coffee, study, get rest, ask questions. Get your matching 401K because it's the only thing that beats inflation... Good blessing In Jesus' Name

You are more than a legal through the Lord who strengthens you!!! Thank you Lord for a powerful sound mind! Thank you Lord that you will outshine in all areas of our friends in her new position! Thank you Lord that you have restored memory back to this person! Thank you Lord that the depression and anxiety are gone in your all mighty name! Give our friend in christ the boldness the confidence the humbleness as only you can so that they may tackle Any assignments that are bestowed on them. Jesus said I can do all things in Christ Jesus who strenthens you. Trust in him to do the impossible. Jesus heal this persons depression and give him a sound mind as he has not given you a spirit of fear. Amen and thank you Jesus
