Please pray for me. I had been going to a church. My husband doesn't go; he's disabled and can't attend. But he got enthusiastic at the things I was telling him about how friendly the people were. He felt lead to purchase the playground equipment for them. (I had heard one of the ladies there mention they were thinking of doing a project to earn some money towards the equipment). After I mentioned this to the pastor at an after church brunch, and then there was a church financial meeting, which I did not attend because I haven't joined yet. (Kept hoping my husband will be attend at least one time before I join, myself). After this church meeting, now the people are not speaking to me any more. The pastor's wife and her friend are not speaking to me any more. A lady who had been my one friend has a worried expression on her face now, and barely speaks to me. It was mentioned about vacation bible school coming up, and those that were helping, would be meeting after church. I noticed that I was not invited to help. I had been invited to help other times. Just pray for me. I am extremely sad and don't understand why offering to buy play ground equipment for the church children should have brought down such a response of cold attitudes. If you have experienced something like that, please share. If you have anything that might help me through this painful experience, send it on. Thank you for your prayers. I'm hurting bad.

Dear one , you need to go directly to the Pastor and ask him what is going on . It is sad to say that so many churches today have " clicks " and if you are not in them or you have offended them in some way then you are excluded and that is NOT how a true follower of Christ should be and so many people are being hurt by the way that some so called Christians are treating one another . Thank God that not all churches are like this , if these people keep treating you this way then find another church , I think that your husband's offer was very generous , God bless you both !
