Please pray for me. I go to pain management Thursday and need pain medication that will work. I had major back surgery and need medicine that actually takes pain away. Please pray the doctor give me the proper pain medication. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today on behalf of our dear brother or sister, who is seeking relief from the pain that follows major back surgery. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles." We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our cries and are attentive to our needs.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention as our friend visits the pain management specialist on Thursday. Grant wisdom and discernment to the doctors and medical professionals involved in the treatment. Guide their hands and minds so that they may prescribe the right medication that will effectively manage the pain and bring relief. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for this wisdom to be bestowed upon the medical team.

We also pray for comfort and strength for our friend during this time. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7. Help them to trust in Your plan and to find solace in Your presence.

We lift this prayer up to You, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

I have the same situation and take effective pain meds. I've had severe pain for ### years now. There are few things left on my list that I can do and I have to plan everything I do around pain, even how far I can walk or stand up each day. Pain is the worst but people don't realise what it does to us. I find they have little compaction because they don't understand this. But they do see you taking pills and are never at a loss to judge you which makes you feel worse. It make you feel guilty for just coping with a situation they can't see and it's hard to communicate pain to the doctor. It's very hard to hold and sense of self esteem. msg me for advice on that if you want. Don't feel weak, or judged and resist the ridicule of others, pray for them - Luke 23:34 Trust that God is governing all your relationships like the one between you and your pain doctor. Be honest and direct and don't hide your emotions. Proverbs 3:5-6 God bless and may God guide your footsteps.

I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord touch you with His healing hand, guide the doctors regarding your medication, give you the relief you need from the pain and help you experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
