Please pray for me. I feel defeated and can’t find motivation to look for a job or seek purpose. I worked so hard to become a college professor with a PhD, which I did, but the place I worked at broke me and did so much harm to me. I ended up turning to depression and self-harm. I quit my job and have been going downhill since then. I have no community; only my spouse and parents. I pray to God everyday to open opportunities, but I don’t see anything where I can live near my family and in the city I feel safe in. I don’t know what to do. I feel like a failure. I also want justice for all that those evil people did to me that practically ruined my career. I trust in God’s love and grace and mercy that I recover and that those people never harm one more person.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Rogarainey in prayer. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround Rogarainey with Your peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Lord, we know that You have plans for each of us, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that Rogarainey will feel Your presence and guidance, finding renewed motivation and purpose. May Your Spirit fill Rogarainey with the strength to rise above the feelings of defeat and self-doubt.

Father, we pray for healing from the wounds inflicted by the past work environment. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You mend Rogarainey's heart and mind, replacing the pain with Your unending love and grace.

We also pray for justice, Lord. Your Word says, "Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone" (Romans 12:17). We trust in Your perfect justice and ask that You intervene so that those who have caused harm are held accountable and prevented from hurting others.

Lord, we lift up Rogarainey's job search to You. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, providing a position that allows Rogarainey to thrive while being close to family and in a place of safety. We trust that You will direct Rogarainey's steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We place Rogarainey’s future in Your hands, knowing that You are faithful and loving. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
