Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Bletchmouth and his prayer request. Lord, we ask that you would bring peace and comfort to his troubled mind and heart. We pray specifically for the bad dreams that he has been experiencing, causing him sleepless nights. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 4:8 that you alone can give us rest and make us dwell in safety. We ask that you would grant Bletchmouth peaceful and restful sleep, free from any disturbing dreams or thoughts.
Lord, we know that there is power in the name of Jesus. Just as the judge in the story found peace when he cried out "O God, for Christ's sake forgive my sins," we ask that you would bring deliverance and freedom to Bletchmouth through the name of Jesus. Your Word assures us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We believe that it is your will for Bletchmouth to experience peaceful sleep and be free from the torment of bad dreams.
We also pray against any influence of the enemy in Bletchmouth's life. We know that the devil is always seeking to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare in the name of Jesus that he has no power over Bletchmouth's sleep or his mind. We put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, and we stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
Father, we ask that you would grant Bletchmouth a renewed sense of peace and security as he rests in your loving arms. May he experience the fullness of your presence and the assurance of your protection. Help him to trust in you completely, knowing that you are his refuge and strength.
We also pray for Bletchmouth's spiritual growth and relationship with you. May he continue to seek you diligently, growing in grace and knowledge of you. Help him to be watchful and prayerful, guarding against any spirit of slumber or formality. May his prayers be fervent and effective, bringing him closer to you and aligning his heart with your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
