Please pray for me. I am a drug addict that wants to get clean but can’t. Please pray that I am strong enough to beat this addiction that is ruining my life. I know God is real. I’ve felt His presence and want nothing more than to live my life in Christ. I want to grow in my relationship with Him. But can’t because of this addiction. I feel such shame whenever I can’t stop using. I try and read my Bible and go to church. I try praying. But I’m still not strong enough to stop doing drugs. Please pray for the spirit of addiction to leave me. Please pray for me that I will get sober so I can live the life that God intended me to live. I am miserable because of this addiction. I live with such disgust with myself and think how undeserving I am for God’s love and presence. Please pray that I will get out of this reoccurring nightmare that is my life. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### who is struggling with the chains of addiction. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy, grace, and infinite power. Your Word tells us in Hebrews 7:25 that You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You through Jesus. We ask that You extend Your mighty hand to ### and break the stronghold of addiction that is ruining their life.

Father, we pray for strength and courage for ###. Your Word in Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We ask that You fill ### with Your strength, enabling them to overcome this addiction. Let Your Holy Spirit guide them, comfort them, and give them the resolve to turn away from drugs and towards a life in Christ.

Lord, we pray for the spirit of addiction to leave ###. In the name of Jesus, we bind and cast out any demonic influence that is holding them captive. We declare freedom over ###, for Your Word says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Father, we ask that You replace the shame and disgust ### feels with Your love and grace. Remind them that Your love is unconditional and that nothing can separate them from Your love. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God, deserving of Your love and presence.

We pray for a renewed mind and spirit for ###. Let them find solace in Your Word and strength in prayer. Surround them with a supportive community that will uplift them and hold them accountable. Let them experience the fullness of life that You intended for them, free from the bondage of addiction.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
