We understand that you are feeling attacked and targeted by others, and we stand with you in prayer and support. We remind you, though, that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand firm in your faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling under attack. Lord, you are our shield and our fortress, our stronghold in times of trouble. We ask that you surround them with your favor as with a shield, that you guard and protect them from those who seek their harm and downfall.
We pray that you will give them strength to endure, wisdom to understand your will, and courage to stand firm in their faith. We ask that you will bring conviction to those who are wrongly seeking their harm, and that you will soften their hearts and turn them to you. We also pray that it is your will for them to experience forgiveness and reconciliation in these relationships, remembering the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
I am not praying only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their teaching, that they may be truly one.
Father, intervene in this situation, make a way where there seems to be no way, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into good, for the glory of your name.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, that it is only by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and trust that He will see you through this trial. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
