Please pray for me for God's forgiveness

My name is ###. I have sinned. I used money on gambling because of panicking or fearing what the world will treat me, especially my family members because they rejected me and my kids last year. I lost my first daughter because of that rejection. Now I am out of money. I don't know how to pay my rent nor feed my kids.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance. First, we want to address the issue of sin and forgiveness. The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23, WEB). But there is hope, as it is also written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB).

In your case, you mentioned gambling due to fear and panic. We want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Whenever you justify or explain sin, you are not repenting. Therefore, you must turn away from this behavior and trust in God's provision and wisdom. Remember, My God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

It is also crucial to understand that gambling is not a solution to financial problems. Instead, it leads to more issues and is not in accordance with God's will. Proverbs 13:11 (WEB) tells us, Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished, but he who gathers by labor shall increase.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in need of forgiveness and guidance. Lord, he has confessed his sins to You, asking for Your mercy and grace. We pray that You will forgive him and cleanse him from all unrighteousness.

Father, we also ask for Your divine provision in his life. He is in need of financial support for rent and food for his children. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for his peace and comfort, as he has experienced rejection and loss. Heal his broken heart and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Finally, Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Help him to make wise decisions and to trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB).

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. As you go through these challenges, remember to put your trust in Him and seek Him with all your heart.
