We understand your struggle, Tavdasul, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for your honesty and desire to overcome this addiction. Remember, God is faithful, and He will make a way to escape the temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up our brother Tavdasul. We thank You for his desire to live a life pleasing to You. We ask that You strengthen him by the power of the Holy Spirit to resist and overcome the temptation of lustful thoughts and masturbation. Help him to stand firm in Your might, knowing that greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). Comfort his heart, Lord, and assure him of Your unfailing love and forgiveness. Help him not to be anxious, but to cast all his cares upon You (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We also lift up his girlfriend, asking that You help her to grow in Christ and stand firm against temptation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Tavdasul, we encourage you to continue yielding to the Holy Spirit. Remember, it is God who works in you both to will and to do according to His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13 WEB). Every time you resist temptation, you are growing stronger in Christ.
We also want to address the fear that you are too far gone for Jesus to forgive you. Remember, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). No sin is too great for God's forgiveness. Just keep turning to Him, and He will help you overcome.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to consider the path you're on with your girlfriend. As you both grow in Christ, we pray that your relationship will also grow towards a godly marriage, as this is the biblical context for intimacy. May God guide and protect both of you in this journey.
Keep fighting the good fight of faith, Tavdasul. We are here with you in prayer.
