Please pray for me as I start ...

Please pray for me as I start my medical residency. Things are so difficult and seem so challenging. I need to perform well in my intern year. Please pray for God to let me shine so that so would get the prize intern of the year. I need these prizes to move on to the next step, to get into Cardiology. I have exams, please pray that God allows me to do well in those exams. I am older than everyone else, please pray that God would give me the energy I need to do everything I need to do.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Aithlew who is embarking on a medical residency. Lord, You know the challenges and the pressure that comes with this new chapter. We ask for Your divine guidance and strength to be upon Aithlew during this time.

Father, Your Word says in Isaiah 40:31, "but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run, and not be weary; they will walk, and not faint." We pray that You would renew Aithlew's strength and give the energy needed to face each day with confidence and endurance.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom and understanding as Aithlew prepares for exams. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Grant Aithlew the wisdom and clarity needed to excel in these exams and throughout the residency.

Father, we pray for favor in Aithlew's performance so that the hard work and dedication may shine through. As it says in Proverbs 3:4, "So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man." May Aithlew find favor with colleagues, mentors, and those in positions of authority.

Lord, we also lift up Aithlew's desire to be recognized as the prize intern of the year. We know that You are the one who elevates and promotes. Psalm 75:6-7 says, "For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another." We trust in Your perfect timing and plan for Aithlew's career.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust that You will provide all that Aithlew needs to succeed in this residency and beyond.
