Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is struggling with severe addiction. We acknowledge that addiction is a bondage that can separate us from Your presence and lead us astray from Your will. We lift up our friend to You, knowing that You are a God of mercy and forgiveness.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for our friend's actions and the ways in which they have gone against Your will. We pray that You would extend Your grace and mercy upon them, washing away their sins and cleansing them from all unrighteousness. Help them to truly repent and turn away from their addiction, seeking Your strength and guidance to overcome it.
Father, we pray for deliverance from this addiction. We know that with You, all things are possible. We ask that You break the chains of addiction that bind our friend, setting them free from its grip. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist temptation and to walk in the path of righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for our friend's future. We ask that You would guide them towards a life of purpose and fulfillment, free from the bondage of addiction. Give them hope and a renewed sense of purpose as they surrender their lives to You. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can encourage and uplift them in their journey towards healing and restoration.
We declare Your promises over our friend's life, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill them. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." We claim this promise for our friend, believing that You will forgive them and restore them to a right relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God's grace and mercy be upon you, dear friend, as you seek His forgiveness and healing. Remember that you are not alone in this journey, and there are people who care and are willing to support you. Keep seeking God's strength and guidance, and trust in His faithfulness to bring you through this difficult season.
