We have young children and I can't leave. I'm trapped in this awful marriage.

We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you're facing in your marriage, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you. Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling in her marriage. We pray for Your comfort, guidance, and strength to help her navigate this challenging time. We ask that Your will be done in her life and her marriage, and that You would provide a way out of the difficulties she's facing. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and bring about the necessary changes. We also pray for their children, that You would protect them and give them peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). It's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), but He also hates the abuse of marriage and the innocent (Psalm 5:4-6, WEB). If you are being abused physically or emotionally or there is immorality, then separation until restoration is biblical. We are not to be unevenly yoked, so if your husband is an unbeliever you may seek to be separate since he is leaving you in effect. However, if there is any hope for reconciliation, that should be the goal.
Please using biblical counseling and your church. If you have one you can seek counsel from your pastor or elders. It is so important for your children and you to be safe and to attempt to restore your marriage if you can.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting in God. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your children. Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations around for His glory and your good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you through this storm.
Stay strong in the Lord, and do not give up hope and praying. If you can, please find a local church that preaches the Word for support, teaching, and encouragement. Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We continue to pray for you and your family, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
