We understand your struggle with your dental phobia, Valse, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Let us first turn to God's Word for comfort and strength. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
In times of anxiety, we can turn to Jesus, who cares for us deeply. 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB) tells us to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us. It is important to acknowledge that God is our source of comfort and strength, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can face our fears. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is through His name that we have access to God and His promises (John 14:6, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Valse in their time of need. Lord, You know the fear they are experiencing, and You understand their anxiety about the upcoming dental appointment. Father, we ask that You would be with Valse, that Your Holy Spirit would fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Guide the hands of the dentist, that they may be skilled and gentle, and grant that any needed treatment would be successful and as comfortable as possible.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for Valse's faith. If they do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that this would be a time when they draw near to You. May they cast all their anxieties on You, Jesus, because You care for them deeply. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Valse. God is with you, and He will help you through this. Trust in Him, and remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB).
