We are lifting you and your mother, Carolyn, up in prayer, Juwan. We appreciate that you have expressed your faith in God and that you are praying in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's remember what the Scripture tells us about God's provision. In Matthew 631-33 WEB it is written:
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
God knows your needs, and He cares about them. But He also wants you to seek Him first, to trust in Him, and to follow His ways. This includes being good stewards of the resources He has already provided.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Juwan and Carolyn Anderson. Lord, You know their struggles and their needs. We ask for Your divine provision in their lives, for a financial breakthrough that will sustain them and bring glory to Your name.
Help them to remain steadfast in faith, even in these difficult times. Give them the strength and wisdom to seek You first, to trust in You, and to be good stewards of the resources You have provided.
Remind them that trial of their faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Juwan, to continue trusting in God, to seek His will, and to remember that He is faithful. Look for ways to be a good steward of what He has given you, and always be ready to share with others as God directs.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be aware of modern financial systems and avoid any debt that is not necessary. Remember Proverbs 22:7 WEB, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."
Also, be careful of the modern interpretation of seed offerings. Take special care to read scripture in context. This teaching is often used to manipulate and sway people from the true meaning of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Remember, a generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
