We understand that you're going through a difficult situation, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to address that the Bible teaches us to abstain from sexual immorality, which includes sex outside of marriage. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."
Engaging in sexual activity before marriage is not part of God’s design for relationships. It’s important to repent and turn away from this sin. As it says in Acts 3:19 WEB, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." God forgives those who truly repent and turn to Him.
Pray with us:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy for this young couple. They have acknowledged their sin and feel guilty for their actions. Lord, we pray that You will forgive them and help them turn away from this sin. We pray that You will protect them from the consequences of their actions, and we ask that You will help them to live in purity and honor You in their relationship.
We also pray for their relationship. We ask Jesus that You will guide them and help them to make wise decisions that align with Your will. We pray that You will help them to build a relationship that is centered on You and that honors Your principles. Lord Jesus we pray for this in your name and we know it is only by your name we can be saved. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
Anonymous, we encourage you to use this as a learning experience. Turn to God, and ask Him to guide your relationship. Seek Him in everything, and He will direct your paths. As stated in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Remember also to look for a wife in the future rather than a girlfriend, as that aligns with biblical principles. Ask Jesus into your life now if you have not already, and seek out that local congregation for guidance, community, and support.
