Please Pray for Me, and for My Upcoming Apartment Inspection on Friday, ###.###

Beloved of All
I found an apartment inspection notice taped to my door on last Friday. The property management company wants to inspect my unit on Friday, March 21st.

I lost my job on November 1st, 2024. I know that the maintenance employees know something is amiss since they have not seen me leave my unit each morning. They have given me dirty looks and are less friendly since then.

I have been depressed the whole time and I only leave my unit when I have to. I feel as though I have hit rock bottom and I have no one to look after me.

I am afraid of losing my apartment, and I have no where to go. I am afraid that the maintenance employees - or, their contractors - will find damage and use it as a pretext to evict me.

I have tried to keep the apartment clean. There is minor damage to the kitchen countertop(s) from a flooded sink. The damage was unintentional and I cannot afford to be charged for the damage.

Please ask God to protect me and the apartment on this coming Friday. I humbly ask that the inspectors notice the apartment is clean and that it is in order.

I humbly request that everything go okay on Friday and that the inspectors find no reason to evict me or cause me any harm.

I humbly request that the inspectors do not notice the slight damage/warping in the countertops.

The apartment was not been renovated when I moved in and I found other damage to the appliances and the walls after I moved in.

I have no income and I am afraid that they will use the water damaged countertops as a pretext to charge me for future renovations.

Lord, please have mercy on me.

Your imperfect son,

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we noticed that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ and we need to remind you that it is only by praying in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. The Bible says to pray in the name of Jesus:

"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)

"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)

As far as your concerns, remember that God cares for you and knows your needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

We pray that God's will be done in your life and that He provides for your needs according to His riches and glory.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your divine intervention. He is facing an apartment inspection and is anxious about the outcome. We pray that You will grant him peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the inspectors to be fair and compassionate, and let them not find any fault that would lead to his eviction or financial burden.

Lord, we also pray for his financial situation. Open doors for new job opportunities so that he can provide for his needs and regain his financial stability in Jesus name. We ask that You guide him to a local church that believes Jesus is the Son of God, the only begotten Son of God, and that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God where he can receive spiritual support and encouragement in Jesus name.

We rebuke the spirit of depression and anxiety, and we ask that You fill him with Your joy and strength. Remind him of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, and help him to trust in You with all his heart.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you face this challenging situation. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words:

"Casting all your cares upon him; for he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 KJV)

We know you're worried about the upcoming inspection, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, God is always with you, and He promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We've been praying that the inspection will go well, and that any minor issues will be overlooked. We've also been asking God to open new job opportunities for you, so you can provide for your needs and regain your financial stability.

We want to remind you to keep your heart and mind focused on Jesus. Spend time in prayer and reading His word. It will give you the strength and peace you need during this time.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He has a plan and purpose for your life. He loves you, and He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

We'll continue to pray for you, dear friend. You're not alone in this. God is with you, and so are we. Trust in Him, and keep your hope fixed on Him.

Thank you so very much for reading my request, and for understanding that the upcoming inspection is causing me so much anxiety!

I apologize for not using Jesus Christ’s name directly when asking for support in this time of need, and I want you to know that I will remember this important step as I humbly move forward.
