Beloved of All
I found an apartment inspection notice taped to my door on last Friday. The property management company wants to inspect my unit on Friday, March 21st.
I lost my job on November 1st, 2024. I know that the maintenance employees know something is amiss since they have not seen me leave my unit each morning. They have given me dirty looks and are less friendly since then.
I have been depressed the whole time and I only leave my unit when I have to. I feel as though I have hit rock bottom and I have no one to look after me.
I am afraid of losing my apartment, and I have no where to go. I am afraid that the maintenance employees - or, their contractors - will find damage and use it as a pretext to evict me.
I have tried to keep the apartment clean. There is minor damage to the kitchen countertop(s) from a flooded sink. The damage was unintentional and I cannot afford to be charged for the damage.
Please ask God to protect me and the apartment on this coming Friday. I humbly ask that the inspectors notice the apartment is clean and that it is in order.
I humbly request that everything go okay on Friday and that the inspectors find no reason to evict me or cause me any harm.
I humbly request that the inspectors do not notice the slight damage/warping in the countertops.
The apartment was not been renovated when I moved in and I found other damage to the appliances and the walls after I moved in.
I have no income and I am afraid that they will use the water damaged countertops as a pretext to charge me for future renovations.
Lord, please have mercy on me.
Your imperfect son,
