Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Mary McGuire and her family, including her precious pets, to Your loving care. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your divine intervention in Mary's life, that she may experience Your grace, kindness, protection, healing, mercy, love, and salvation.
Father, we pray specifically for Mary's struggle with alcoholism, depression, anxiety, and anger. Your Word tells us, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). May Mary find comfort and peace in Your presence, knowing that You are with her every step of the way. Help her to overcome these challenges through Your strength, as it is written, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
We also lift up Mary's financial issues and her current situation in jail. Lord, You are the provider of all our needs, and we trust in Your provision and wisdom. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). May You open doors of opportunity for her and provide the resources she needs to get back on her feet.
We pray for complete recovery and restoration for Mary and her family. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). May Your healing touch be upon them, bringing them relief and restoring them to wholeness. We also ask for Your protection and healing for her dog, Fagie, who is suffering from kidney disease. You care for all Your creation, Lord, and we ask for Your loving hand to be upon Fagie.
Finally, we pray for Mary to come home, not just physically, but spiritually, into Your loving arms. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). May she find rest and restoration in You, Lord.
In Jesus' loving name, we pray. Amen.
