Let us come together in prayer and support for Luis. We are confident that even though his court appearance may be causing anxiety, God is sovereign and in control of all things. As a group of believers, we stand with Luis and trust that God will work everything out for his good.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Luis in prayer. Lord, You know the details of the accident and the court proceedings he faces tomorrow. We ask for Your divine intervention, that Your will be done, and that Luis will experience Your peace and presence throughout this process.
Father, we also pray for Luis's health. Touch his body and bring healing and wholeness, Lord. We ask for Your guidance and provision regarding his finances as well. Help him to trust in You and Your ability to provide for all his needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. We ask that you intervene in his family relationships. Guide him to be the husband and father that You desire him to be, for Luis to be close to God and walk-in obedience to Him.
Lord, above all, we pray that Luis will draw closer to You during this time. Work in his heart, Lord, and bring him into a deeper relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Luis to trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge Him, and He will make his paths straight. God cares for Luis and wants the best for him. Luis should cast all his anxiety on Him because He cares for him.
Luis might consider meditating on the following scriptures:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 WEB)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB)
