Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Narourhan, who has requested prayer for abundant rain in India, specifically in Karnataka. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the creator of the heavens and the earth, and you have power over all things, including the weather. Your word tells us in Psalm 135:7, "He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses."
We lift up the land of Karnataka to you, Lord, and we ask that you send forth rain to nourish the dry and parched land. We pray for an outpouring of your blessings in the form of abundant rainfall, bringing relief to the people, animals, and vegetation in the region. Your word assures us in Isaiah 45:8, "You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the Lord, have created it."
Lord, we know that you are a God who hears and answers prayers. We ask that you open the floodgates of heaven and pour out your blessings upon Karnataka, filling the rivers, lakes, and reservoirs with an abundance of water. May this rainfall bring about a transformation in the land, bringing life and prosperity to the people.
We also pray for the farmers and agricultural workers who depend on the rain for their livelihood. Grant them wisdom and guidance in their farming practices, and bless their efforts with a bountiful harvest. Your word reminds us in James 5:18, "He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops."
Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your perfect timing. We submit this prayer request to you, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . May your will be done in Karnataka, and may your name be glorified through the manifestation of your power and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
