Mighty Prayer Warriors:
Humbly and respectfully I solicit your thoughts and prayers for my Chi, Lil Man. He seems to not be feeling well and hasn't eaten-other than a treat for 2 days. He is drinking water but I am concerned that he hasn't eaten since Friday. We are also in the midst of a heat wave here in MD with temperatures in the high 90's and a heat index of 105 degrees. To some degree, I suspect the heat as a contributing factor for it is also affecting me, too. I need to take him to a Vet; but I am still lacking adequate funds in which to do so. We are still struggling to survive. Lil Man and I are still homeless. Yet, I am hopeful that we will soon have a place to call home. By God's grace and mercy, the manager at the hotel in which we have been staying has been kind and gracious in allowing us to stay even when the funds exhaust. I am still working and will have been on my job (30) days on Tuesday. The staff is preparing me to take over some major roles including Orientation. My prayers are ongoing that God will open the door and allow transition into a permanent Federal Government employee. I was told on Friday that I was assuming the role of someone who retired and was provided with the person's job aids/training manuals used to perform the job efficiently. God is good and HE is still working!
In the interim, my prayers are ongoing that God will soon provide us with our new home, adequate finances in which to sustain our new home and all monthly obligations, and that God will heal both me and Lil Man. I still have an untreated medical conditions; but continue to trust and believe in God that HE will heal me (and Lil Man) naturally. GOD is the ultimate HEALER!
