We understand your heart for LA and your desire to make a positive impact through your gaming platform and the preaching of the Gospel. We commend your faith and the growth you've seen, much like the mustard seed that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 17:20, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
However, we must also address a few things. While it's wonderful to have favorite pastors, we must ensure that Jesus Christ remains our focus. It's Him who saves, transforms, and equips us for good works. As Ephesians 2:8-10 (WEB) reminds us, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Moreover, we must remember that while people may initially not care about our faith, our lives and our testimony can soften hearts. As 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB) tells us, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." This applies to all of us, not just wives. Our behavior, our love, and our kindness can open doors for the Gospel.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up LA and our sister's ministry there. Lord, prepare the hearts of the people, just as You're preparing our sister. Use her mightily, Lord, to reach those who don't yet know You. Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates the gaming industry. Let her light shine brightly, drawing people to You. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to keep her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, dear sister. Keep stepping out in faith. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
