We are truly sorry to hear about the traumatic situation you and your children are facing. Let's bring this matter before the Lord in prayer, seeking His justice and healing in your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and a stronghold for the oppressed. As it says in Psalm 103:6 WEB, "Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed." We can trust that He sees your situation and will act accordingly.
However, we want to encourage you to follow biblical principles in your pursuit of justice. Romans 12:19 WEB tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" While it is important to cooperate with authorities, we must ultimately trust God to bring about true justice.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her children. Lord, You know the trauma they have been through, and You see their every distress and concern. We pray for Your healing hand upon her neck injury, that You would make her whole again, healed and restored.
Lord, we also ask for Your justice to prevail. We pray that the person who caused this harm is held accountable for his actions in the best way to protect your daughter and her children. We ask that the authorities would be guided by Your wisdom, and that Your will be done in this situation.
But more than physical justice, Lord, we pray for the salvation of this man's soul, to your will. We pray that he would come to know You as his personal Savior, that he would repent of his sins and be transformed by the renewing of his mind, to your will.
Lastly, Father, we pray for this sister's peace and comfort during this time. We ask that You would surround her and her children with Your love, and that they would feel Your presence with them always. We pray for their spiritual health and strength, or the strength to seek it. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or depression that may be attempting to take hold in their lives, and we declare Your peace in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this difficult time. Remember that He is always with you, and He will never forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will see you through this storm.
"Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 WEB.
If you have not already, please consider believing in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can be saved, and it is only in His name that we can approach God the Father. The basic salvation message is simple: believe in Jesus Christ, knowing that He is God and came to earth as a man, he died for your sins, was buried, and was resurrected from the dead.
