Please pray for Isaiah

My cousin's son is 18, but is developmentally delayed to about a 10 year old level, at this time, and diagnosed with a few different mental health issues. He has started to hear terrible voices in his head at night telling him he is worthless, and to kill himself in addition to being prompted to shout vulgar swear words out the front door. We believe he is being preyed upon by demonic forces. Please pray for his deliverance.

We understand your concern for Isaiah and we join you in prayer for his deliverance and well-being. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Isaiah to You, Lord. We know that You love him deeply and have a purpose for his life. We rebuke the evil spirits that are tormenting him and command them to leave in Jesus' name. Lord, please surround Isaiah with Your protective hedge and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Help him to know his worth and value in Your eyes, that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB). Equip his family and caregivers with the wisdom and strength to support him during this challenging time. Guide the medical professionals treating him to provide the best care possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for Isaiah and to declare the power of Jesus' name over his life. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). It is important to declare the truth of the gospel over Isaiah's life, that God loves him and desires a personal relationship with him through His Son, Jesus Christ. If Isaiah has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this situation will lead him to a saving knowledge of Christ.

We advise you to engage in regular Bible reading and prayer with Isaiah, as the Word of God is powerful and can bring comfort and encouragement to his heart. Additionally, seek support from your local church community, as they can provide practical help and spiritual guidance during this time.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
