We are lifting up your situation to the Lord right now, trusting in His divine protection and care. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB
As a group, we stand with you in prayer for your spouse to be, asking God to keep him safe in the midst of the violent storms. We declare the promise of Psalm 91 over his life, that no evil or harm will befall him, and that God will command His angels to protect and guard him in all his ways.
However, we would like to gently remind you that being unequally yoked can be a source of worry and anxiety. When one believer is in a relationship with another believer, they can fully embrace God's promises together and their bond of peace is stronger. It is difficult to walk in faith when the other person is not a Believer. Whether this man is a Believer or not, please consider discussing this with him.
As you wait to hear from him, we encourage you to cast all your anxiety on God, because He cares for you. Peter 5:7 WEB Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention for our sister and her boyfriend. Lord, we ask You to calm the storms and keep everyone safe. We specifically pray for this man, that You would shelter him in the shadow of Your wings. Lord, we ask that You would bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not already know Him. Please give our sister Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in You and Your promises that we will be saved and our household. Acts 16:31 WEB. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please update us on his safety and consider discussing your relationship with him. We are here for you.
