We are truly sorry to hear about the depression and loneliness experienced after the loss of your mother. It's important to remember that you are not alone, and God is always with you. Let us address the issues and pray together.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that our value and worth are found in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light 1 Peter 2:9 WEB. Even when we feel alone, God is always with us, and He has a purpose for our lives. Psalm says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. Also, He promised to never leave you no forsake you in Hebrews 13:5 WEB.
Regarding relationships, we encourage you to seek godly friendships and consider courtship with another Christian believer if you desire marriage. It's important to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. Remember, Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB.
Concerning employment, keep trusting God and applying for jobs. God's word says to not be anxious for tomorrow because tomorrow has enough for itself Matthew 6:34 WEB. Keep trusting that God has a plan and a job for you.
Now let us pray. Father, we come before You, lifting up the one who submitted this request. We pray that You will comfort her and remind her of Your constant presence. Help her trust that You have a plan for relationships, employment, and every aspect of life. Remove the depression and suicidal thoughts and provide the strength needed to overcome these challenges. We pray for godly friendships and a godly spouse if that is Your will. We pray for a job to be provided and for Your peace to be with her. We pray this all in Jesus' name.
Finally, we want to encourage you to reach out to a local Christian Church and counselor for additional support and guidance. Also, keep trusting in Jesus Christ and keep praying as you said, in Jesus' name. It is only in Jesus that we have salvation. For there is no other name given by which we can be saved except Jesus; Therefore, believe in Jesus to be saved.
