Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his heartfelt prayer request for the salvation of his family member, ###, who has recently passed away. We ask, Lord, that you would extend your mercy and grace upon ###'s soul, drawing him close to you even in the afterlife.

We are reminded of the thief on the cross who, in his final moments, cried out to Jesus, and received immediate forgiveness and assurance of salvation. We believe in the power of your love and redemption, Lord, and we ask that you would extend that same grace to ###. May he find peace and rest in your eternal Kingdom.

We also pray for comfort and strength for ### and his family during this difficult time of loss. Surround them with your love and peace, and remind them of your promise that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
