Please pray for ###. ###, her son ...

My son ###, 22, who grew up in a Christian home, gave his life to Jesus as a young boy, was baptized as a young boy, grew up on the mission field where his dad and I still serve. Helped in the ministry and has a pastoring calling on his life since an early age, this seemed to have been confirmed by several people through Words of knowledge as he grew up. His dad and I are serving in ###, MX, currently.
### went to ### to attend a Christian university where he met a non-believing girl whom he started to date. He “fell in love” quickly and left school and Jesus. This relationship has destroyed his faith in Jesus. She is very abusive and hates Christianity. He began self-harm and self-loathing because he can never please her. My husband and I have prayed and prayed constantly for our son to break free from this hold she has had on him. Yet he stays trapped in the fowler's snare. We were given the name jezebel in our prayer time and so have prayed against the spirit of jezebel in her life and our son’s life. He left ### and came to stay with our other son in ### but has maintained a relationship with her through video chats etc… and plans to go visit her in ### the end of July.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts burdened for ###, son of ### and ###. Lord, we know that You are a God who hears our prayers and answers them according to Your perfect will. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him."

Father, we lift ### up to You right now. We pray that You would break the chains that are holding him in this destructive relationship. Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:3, "Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence." Lord, we ask that You would save ### from the snare that has entrapped him and restore his faith in You.

We pray against any spirit of Jezebel that may be influencing this situation. In the name of Jesus, we bind and rebuke any demonic forces that are working against ###'s life and his calling. As it is written in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Lord, we submit ### to You and ask that You would give him the strength to resist the enemy.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s heart. Your Word says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Father, soften ###'s heart and draw him back to You. Remind him of the love and grace that You have for him, and restore the calling You have placed on his life.

We pray for ### and ### as they continue to serve You faithfully on the mission field. Give them peace and assurance that You are working in ###'s life. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways. We know that You are a God of miracles and that nothing is too hard for You. We place ### in Your hands and ask that You would do a mighty work in his life. In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
