Amen, Joseph! Trust that God is with us. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jer 29:11). Keep believing in His promises!
We are glad to join you in prayer for your son's scan and health. First, we would like to share some words from the Lord,
"For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB
We see the love and concern of a parent for their child. We do not see a mention of Jesus Christ or a salvation message in your request. First, we want to address this as it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the one and only mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB states "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times".
In the Bible, the word ransom means a payment for sin which is the reason we do not have access to God the Father. You see, we all have sin and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 WEB. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death Romans 6:23 WEB. Jesus Christ being fully God and fully man was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life on earth. He was crucified on a cross and died a cruel death. He was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day. He did this to pay our ransom and be the propitiation for our sins.
Propitiation means that Jesus Christ's life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension turned away the wrath of God. God is a holy and a just God. God cannot have sin in his presence. God cannot ignore sin and be a just God. However, God loves us and wants to show us mercy. Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless life. Jesus died on a cross as the perfect sacrifice. He made propitiation for our sins. 1 John 2:2 WEB confirms, "and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world". Jesus made a way for us to have access to God the Father. Jesus became the bridge between God and man.
The Bible says that if we confess the Lord Jesus Christ and believe God raised him from the dead we shall be saved Romans 10:9 WEB. It also says that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Now let us pray for your son,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ###'s son to you. Lord, you know the concerns and fears. We ask that you be with his son during the scan and calm any fears or anxieties. We pray for favorable results that bring glory to your name. We know that you are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for you. We ask for your healing touch and bless ### and their family.
Lord, we also pray for ### and their family, that they would confess the Lord Jesus Christ and believe that he is raised from the dead. We ask that you would bring them into a loving, saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
We trust your will, Lord. We ask for complete healing and health for their son, mind, body and spirit. Use this situation to strengthen their faith and draw them closer to you. Surround them with your peace, and fill their hearts with hope and joy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We believe in the power of prayer and the love of our Heavenly Father.

Jesus has given us life. And a good life. It's knowing the truth. It is with the stripes of Jesus we are healed and it's good to know the promises given to us. Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits. LOOK! We have been given benefits. Forget not all his benefits. What are those benefits?
Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

So it's not begging God to do something, it's all been accomplished in and through Jesus Christ. So, Father, thank you that your report is a good report, and it is with the stripes of Jesus this son is healed, and the report is good. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

If your request was answered and the scan results were good, please share that joy with our community and let us all praise God together. If you are still awaiting results or if the news was not as hoped for, please share that with us as well, so we can continue to petition God for his healing touch.
