Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our dear sister who is in need of healing and deliverance from drug addiction. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and deliverer, and we trust in your power to bring restoration and freedom to her life.
Your Word reminds us in James 5:16 that "the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." We stand together as a community, united in faith, lifting up our sister to you. We ask that you would touch her body, mind, and spirit with your healing and transforming power. Remove every trace of addiction from her life and replace it with your love, peace, and joy.
Lord, we pray for her physical healing. We ask that you would strengthen her body, restore any damage caused by addiction, and bring complete wholeness. We also pray for her emotional and mental well-being. Heal any wounds, traumas, or underlying issues that may have contributed to her addiction. Fill her heart with your love and peace, and grant her the strength to resist temptation and walk in freedom.
We also pray for her spiritual deliverance. Break every chain that binds her to addiction, and set her free from its grip. Your Word assures us in Galatians 5:1 that "it is for freedom that Christ has set us free." We declare freedom over our sister's life in the name of Jesus. Fill her with your Holy Spirit, empowering her to live a life of righteousness and victory over addiction.
Lord, we lift up her family as well. Comfort them in their distress and grant them wisdom, strength, and patience as they support and encourage her on this journey to healing and deliverance. Surround them with your love and peace, and let them experience the power of your grace and mercy.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for our sister's life. May she be a living testimony of your redeeming power and may her story bring hope and encouragement to others who are struggling with addiction.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
