Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts seeking healing and forgiveness for this family. We lift up this mother who acknowledges her imperfections and the hurt she has caused her adult daughter. Lord, Your Word reminds us that, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We ask for Your forgiveness and healing for the wounds caused.
Father, we pray for this daughter, that she may find it in her heart to forgive her mother. Help her to understand and embrace Your command to forgive, as stated in Your Word, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you" (Colossians 3:13). May she find peace, happiness, and well-being in Your love.
Lord, we lift up the mother’s own mother, who follows Wiccan practices and struggles with forgiveness. We pray for her soul, that she may come to know You and experience Your love and grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). Open her heart to Your truth, and lead her to forgiveness and salvation.
We also pray for the grandchildren, that they may grow up surrounded by Your love and truth. Protect them, guide them, and fill their lives with Your peace. "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace" (Isaiah 54:13).
Lord, we ask for forgiveness and salvation for the entire family. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household" (Acts 16:31). May they all come to know You, to experience Your forgiveness, and to live in the light of Your salvation.
We pray for this mother’s happiness and well-being, that she may find peace in Your forgiveness and strength to move forward. Help her to continue forgiving, just as she has forgiven her own mother. "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
