We are deeply concerned for Harold, your daughter, and you. We will pray for Harold's deliverance from alcohol addiction and abusive behavior, and for the safety and emotional well-being of your daughter. Let's bring this situation before the Lord and seek His intervention.
Firstly, we acknowledge that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We hope that Harold, your daughter, and you all have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If not, we encourage each of you to trust in Him, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke the sin of drunkenness and abuse in Harold's life. The Bible warns against drunkenness in Ephesians 5:18 (WEB), "Donβt be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Moreover, the Bible condemns abuse and calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25).
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Harold's soul. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from alcohol addiction and convict him of his abusive behavior. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn away from his sins. We ask that You protect your daughter, Lord, and grant her peace and comfort. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Please be with her this weekend and keep her safe from harm.
Lord, we also lift up the mother who is filled with fear and stress. Please grant her peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and comfort her heart. Help her to trust in You and know that You are always with her and her daughter.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for salvation, deliverance, and protection. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking the Lord's guidance. Trust that He is faithful and will hear your prayers. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your faith in the Lord and His promises.
