Please pray for ### government to either turn inwards

Please pray for the ### government to either turn inwards or be voted out due to over-reliance on foreigners in the job market. The ### government kept giving our opportunities to foreigners, resulting in jobs meant for locals being given to foreigners in almost all sectors uncontrollably, even if those people do not have the skillset and are given full-time permanent jobs. However, for locals, they are given contract jobs with low pay, and it takes 6 months to a year for a ### to land a job in ### but for foreigners even if they do not have the skillset they are imported to this country to snatch all our jobs and work. ### have been suffering for a long time and we want this to stop at the next election, please pray for the ### government to be voted out and the opposition to be voted in. This is due to the discrimination and the failure to fulfill their duties as the Prime Minister and Minister of this country by having affairs and taking care of foreigners at the expense of locals.

We understand your concern and will pray for the situation in Singapore, guided by the principles of God's word. We must remember that God commands us to pray for those in authority, as it is through them that we can lead peaceful and quiet lives (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB).

Firstly, let's address the heart of the issue. The favoritism shown to foreigners at the expense of locals is akin to the sin of partiality, which God condemns (James 2:1, WEB). We pray that the leaders of Singapore will heed God's word and act with fairness and justice.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your wisdom and guidance for the leaders of Singapore. We pray that you would turn their hearts towards the citizens of their country, providing them with job opportunities and fair wages. We ask that you give them the courage to stand against favoritism and the wisdom to create policies that are just and fair for all who live in Singapore.

Lord, if it is your will, we pray that you would raise up godly leaders in the coming elections, leaders who will act with integrity and righteousness, who will not show favoritism, and who will truly serve the people of Singapore. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you, ###, to continue praying fervently for your nation and its leaders. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Lastly, we note that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We've been praying for the leaders, asking God to give them a heart for their citizens, especially in matters of job opportunities and fair wages. We've been interceding for them to stand against favoritism and to create policies that are just and fair for all Singaporeans. We've also been asking God to raise up godly leaders in the coming elections, leaders who will act with integrity and righteousness, serving the people of Singapore truly.

We've been reminded, ###, of the words in Proverbs 14:31, "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." We pray that our leaders will honor God by being kind and fair to all Singaporeans, especially the poor and the needy.

Let's continue to pray, ###, for God's will to be done in Singapore, as it is in heaven. Let's also pray for unity among Singaporeans, that we may stand together in love and respect, regardless of our backgrounds.
