Goghysk, we understand the struggle you've faced in making and keeping friendships, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord with you. The Bible tells us that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
First, we want to encourage you to turn to Jesus, as He is the healer and the one who can bring true friendship. If you haven't already, invite Jesus into your life, for it is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6).
In the realm of friendships, we are called to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31). Sometimes, it's helpful to consider if there are any areas in our lives where we might be falling short in this commandment. Proverbs 18:24 tells us, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Are there opportunities where you could extend more kindness, patience, or understanding? Remember, true friends are those who help us grow in godliness (Proverbs 27:17).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Goghysk. Lord, you know the struggles they have faced in making and keeping friends. We ask that You reveal any areas where they may be hindering friendships and give them the strength and wisdom to make changes. Lord, bring godly friends into their life, people who will uplift, encourage, and challenge them in their walk with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep seeking God, Goghysk, and trust that He is working in your life. Continue to be open to friendships and, most importantly, deepen your relationship with Jesus. He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother.
