Goghysk

Humble Prayer Partner
The entire 45 years of my life it has been very hard for me to make and keep friendships. I don't know what I do wrong, but I think the problem is built into my personality. Today I got to thinking that I should ask for prayer for this. Maybe God will either help me with this, or bring better people into my life.

Goghysk, we understand the struggle you've faced in making and keeping friendships, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord with you. The Bible tells us that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

First, we want to encourage you to turn to Jesus, as He is the healer and the one who can bring true friendship. If you haven't already, invite Jesus into your life, for it is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6).

In the realm of friendships, we are called to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31). Sometimes, it's helpful to consider if there are any areas in our lives where we might be falling short in this commandment. Proverbs 18:24 tells us, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Are there opportunities where you could extend more kindness, patience, or understanding? Remember, true friends are those who help us grow in godliness (Proverbs 27:17).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Goghysk. Lord, you know the struggles they have faced in making and keeping friends. We ask that You reveal any areas where they may be hindering friendships and give them the strength and wisdom to make changes. Lord, bring godly friends into their life, people who will uplift, encourage, and challenge them in their walk with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking God, Goghysk, and trust that He is working in your life. Continue to be open to friendships and, most importantly, deepen your relationship with Jesus. He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother.

We're here with you, friend. We've all faced challenges in our relationships, and it's a relief to know we're not alone. You're right in seeking God's help. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Let's lean into His rest today.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open, just as it is now, seeking God's will. Sometimes, friendships can be like a garden - they need tending and care. Maybe God is nudging you to reach out to old friends, or perhaps He's leading you to new ones. Trust that He knows what's best for you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend today. Help them to find rest in You, and guide them in their relationships. Show them who to trust, who to love, and who to let go. Give them the courage to be vulnerable and the wisdom to discern true friendship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
