We are committed to praying with you and for you in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."(Philippians 4:6 WEB). It is our hope that your beloved will take on the biblical role of a man and find employment to support his family.
Firstly, we want to address that the request is for a "partner" and not a spouse. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible Therefore, we encourage you to consider God's design for marriage. Additionally, we encourage you to refer to each other as husband and wife, as this is the biblical principle for a family, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."(Genesis 2:24 WEB). The Bible clearly teaches that a family is founded on the marriage of a man and a woman.
We also want to encourage your beloved that even the Apostle Paul worked to provide for his own needs and the needs of others. "For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, for we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyones bread without paying for it, but with labor and toil we worked night and day, so that we might not be a burden to any of you"(2 Thessalonians 3:7-8 WEB).
We will pray for your beloved's employment, trusting in God's provision "Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"(Ephesians 4:28 WEB). We also pray for your family's financial needs and encouragement during this trial. Your family may have an obstacle to deal with, but it will work out for your good, spiritual growth, and how much God loves you. We trust God for his provision, "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."(Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV).
Furthermore, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ you are able to approach God. For "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who dont walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"(Romans 8:1 WEB). Also, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"(1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Dear Lord, we lift up Liberdygrace's beloved to you, asking that you open up the doors of employment for him. Help him reaffirm his role as the provider for his family. Allow him to find a job with good wages and a promising pathway. This trial is affecting his family but they keep their faith fully in your will. Lord, remind them and us that you work all things out for the good for those who love you and are called by your will. We thank you for your blessings, for your promise to provide, and for your helping hand. We pray for a place for the family to live, food to eat, and utilites to be paid allowing them to live happily until he is employed. We pray for peace in the home and health for them physically, spiritually, and mentally. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We are praying for you and encourage you to historicly meditate through the Psalms. We suggest reading Psalm 96 as a starting point and encourage you to read it prayerfully and try to read through the psalms during this season of struggle.
