We understand that you are seeking prayer for Donald Carbello, and you've acknowledged the reality of Satan and his influence. We commend you for recognizing the spiritual battle at hand. Let us remember to pray in Jesus' name.
Firstly, it is important to emphasize that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the help of God. As the Bible tells us, God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. - Philippians 2:9-10.
We are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12, WEB)
We pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Donald Carbello. We stand against any influence of the evil one in his life. We pray that You would deliver him from any form of spiritual bondage. We pray that any ungodly influence be removed from his life and that the Holy Spirit's influence on him be greatly increased.
Lord, we ask that Your light would shine in his heart, revealing any areas of darkness, and that he would be drawn to You, experiencing Your love and grace. We pray for his complete surrender to Your will and that he would call on the name of Jesus Christ for his salvation. If he already knows You, then we pray for a stronger commitment to walk with You in closer fellowship. We pray that he would put on the full armor of God, to stand against the schemes of the devil.
