I have a doctor appt for a very serious health concern. I'm so scared and filled with anxiety. Please pray for peace and also that the diagnosis is not what I'm afraid it is. Thank you so much!

We understand your fear and anxiety, Ilmarianne, but we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us pray in His name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ilmarianne. She is filled with fear and anxiety about her upcoming doctor's appointment. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to fill her heart and mind. Be with the doctors, guide their hands, and give them wisdom to make the right decisions. We pray that the diagnosis will not be as feared, and that Your healing power would be at work in Ilmarianne's life.

Ilmarianne, remember that God is always with you. As promised in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" Trust in Him, and lean on His strength during this difficult time.

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Keep your mind stayed on Him, for He is your strength and your shield. As you go to your appointment, be confident that God is in control and that He loves you deeply.

We're asking for His peace to flood your heart and mind, driving out that fear and anxiety. We're praying for the doctors, that they would be guided by God's wisdom and compassion. We're trusting that God is in control, that He's got this, and that He'll use this situation for your good and His glory.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, Ilmarianne. He's the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got this. We're believing for a good report, for healing, and for peace. We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.
