Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Desmond who is scheduled to undergo surgery on the 2nd of May. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and guidance during this time. We pray that you would be with the medical team, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom as they perform the surgery. May they be instruments of your healing power.
Lord, we pray for a successful surgery for Desmond. We ask that you would guide the surgeon's every move, ensuring that all goes well and according to your perfect plan. We pray for a smooth and uncomplicated procedure, with no complications or setbacks. May your healing touch be upon Desmond, bringing restoration and wholeness to his body.
We also pray for peace and comfort for Desmond and his loved ones during this time of uncertainty. May your presence surround them, bringing them strength and assurance. Help them to trust in your unfailing love and to find peace in knowing that you are in control.
Lord, we claim the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." We believe in your healing power and we trust in your faithfulness. We thank you in advance for the successful outcome of Desmond's surgery.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
