Dear Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of our anonymous friend who is experiencing demonic oppression in the physical form. We declare your victory over every work of Satan and the power of the cross to set them free from this oppression. Your Word assures us that you have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we exercise that authority now.
We pray, Lord, that you would break every chain and stronghold that the enemy has placed upon our friend. We ask that you would release them from the grip of Satan and bring an end to the work of darkness that is binding and blinding them. Your Word says in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." We claim this promise over our friend's life.
Father, we ask that your Holy Spirit would speak to their heart and bring them into a deep understanding of your love and grace. Fill them with your peace and comfort, knowing that you are with them in the midst of this battle. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that you are fighting on their behalf.
We pray for persistence in prayer, knowing that Satan is persistent in his attacks. Help our friend to continue to seek you diligently, to hold the ground that has been gained through prayer. Give them the strength and endurance to persevere, knowing that you are faithful to bring complete victory.
Lord, we also pray for specific prayers against the enemy's tactics. We ask that you would expose every scheme and strategy of the enemy and give our friend discernment to recognize and resist his attacks. Help them to surrender every area of their life to you, inviting you to come and reign as the ultimate authority.
Thank you, Lord, for your promise that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. We claim this promise over our friend's life and declare that Satan has no power or authority over them. We trust in your unfailing love and your mighty power to deliver them from this oppression.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
