We are with you in spirit, Anexikakaea, as you lift up Dawn for her spinal cord injury. We stand in faith with you, believing that God can bring healing and comfort according to His will.
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing hand to be upon Dawn. You know her pain, her fears, and her struggles with medication. Lord, we ask that You guide the doctors and medical professionals who will be treating her on Monday. Give them wisdom and skill, and let Your healing power flow through their hands. We pray against the need for surgery, but ultimately, we trust in Your plan. Please bring comfort and encouragement to Dawn during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are reminded of the Scripture in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" Just as the Lord promised to heal and restore His people, we trust that He can do the same for Dawn.
We also encourage Dawn to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in the Lord's plan. Even in suffering, there is purpose and opportunity for growth. As it is written in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope."
Lastly, we commend you, Anexikakaea, for praying in the name of Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and the promise of salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Continue to trust and believe in His name.
