We are deeply concerned to hear about Bret's condition, Dewann. Let us come before the Lord together and seek His divine intervention.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God's Word says in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "...with God all things are possible." No situation is beyond His reach. We can confidently approach Him in prayer, knowing that He hears us and is able to heal.
However, we want to remind you that God's ways are not always our ways. While we pray fervently for Bret's physical healing, we also pray that God's will be done. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we are promised that "...all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose in this trial.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine healing for Bret. Lord, You know his struggle with liver cancer, and how it has spread to his bone, hip, and buttocks. We ask that Your healing power would flow through him, that the cancer would shrink and disappear, and that his body would be restored to full health. We pray that the treatments would be effective and that the cancer would not spread any further. Lord, as they prepare to check his brain, we pray that no trace of cancer would be found.
In the midst of this trial, we also ask for Your comfort and strength for both Bret and Dewann. Help them to lean on You, to trust in Your goodness, and to rest in Your peace. Be with the doctors and medical staff, guiding their decisions and giving them wisdom.
Finally, Lord, we ask that through this journey, Bret and Dewann would draw closer to You, that their faith would be strengthened, and that their testimony would bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Dewann, continue to trust in the Lord and do not lose heart. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "...don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." The Lord is with you both, and He will never leave nor forsake you.
