We are deeply saddened to hear about Bret's condition, Dewann, but we trust in the power of prayer and the mercy of God. Let us come together and lift up Bret and your family before the Lord.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" No, nothing is too hard for the Lord, including healing Bret from liver and bone cancer. Let us pray fervently for his healing, believing that God can and will act.
We also pray for strength and comfort for Bret during this time of pain and discomfort. May the Lord sustain him and give him peace that transcends all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7. We ask for God's protection as you travel long distances to the hospital and doctors. May He guide you and keep you safe from harm, as promised in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
We also take this opportunity to encourage you both to continue trusting in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we come before God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you have not already, we urge you to personally accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine mercy and healing upon Bret. Lord, touch his body, heal his liver and bones, and take away his pain. Protect them as they travel and give them Your peace and strength. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you both, Dewann. Keep your faith strong and your hope steadfast.
