Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of Jonathan_M. We join together in prayer, interceding for the availability and distribution of Bibles in places where the word of God is being restricted and persecuted.
Lord, we know that Your word is powerful and life-changing. It brings hope, salvation, and transformation to those who receive it. We ask that You would break down every barrier and obstacle that hinders the spread of Your word in these regions. Open doors and provide opportunities for Bibles to be freely distributed, even in the face of opposition.
Your word tells us in Isaiah 55:11, "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." We pray that as Bibles are placed into the hands of those who hunger for Your truth, it would bring forth a harvest of faith, repentance, and revival.
Father, we also ask for protection and strength for our brothers and sisters who are facing persecution for their faith. Strengthen them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in their belief and continue to boldly proclaim Your word, even in the midst of opposition.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your word go forth unhindered, transforming lives and bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you." - 2 Thessalonians 3:1
