Praying for this request in Jesus Name.
We understand that you're going through a challenging situation with your mother, and we're here to pray and offer guidance. First, let's remember that God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB).
Praying for someone to become a better person is a wonderful start, but let's also pray for something even more profound: her spiritual transformation. It's important to remember that only God can change a person's heart (Ezekiel 36:26, WEB). We should pray that your mother encounters Jesus Christ and accepts Him as her Savior. The change you are looking for should be the result of her beginning a relationship with Jesus.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of the one who submitted this request. We ask, Lord, that You reveal Yourself to her and draw her to Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help her to see her need for a Savior and to turn to Him in repentance and faith. As she begins a relationship with Jesus, we pray that You will transform her heart and make her a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). We ask that You help her to become the mother and the person You created her to be. We believe that this is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit working in her life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
In the meantime, it's crucial for you to show love and forgiveness to your mother, just as Christ loves and forgives us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). Remember that you can't change your mother, but God can. Trust in Him, and continue to be a light for Christ in your home.
Lastly, if your mother doesn't know Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord, it is only by Jesus that anyone can be saved. If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, then we encourage you to seek Jesus Christ. The Bible says that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ shall be saved. For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
