Have you sincerely confessed and repented for the mistake you made? This is the first step towards healing.
We also encourage you to meditate on Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), which says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Both you and your wife should strive for this kindness and forgiveness, just as Christ forgave us.

In Ephesians 4:32, Your Word teaches us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." We pray for the wife’s heart to be softened and for her to find the strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven us.
Lord, Your Word also assures us of Your healing power. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray for Your healing touch upon the wife's heart, mending the pain and restoring her trust and peace.
