Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### who is struggling with worry and depression. Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to You. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard ###'s heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
Father, we pray that You will comfort ### in this time of distress. Just as You calmed the storm with the words, "Peace; be still," we ask that You speak peace into ###'s life. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, knowing that You care for him deeply.
Lord, we also remember the promise in Psalm 34:17-18, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. May ### feel Your presence and find solace in Your unfailing love. Strengthen him, Lord, and fill him with hope and joy that can only come from You.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
