We join with you, dear anonymous, in lifting up the city of San Diego, California, and the grave injustices you've highlighted. We stand on the promise of God's Word, which assures us that He is a God of justice and righteousness.
Let us pray:
"Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we bring before You the city of San Diego and its authorities. We ask that You expose and bring to light any crooked dealings, harassment, and racist behavior within its police force. As it is written in Proverbs 21:3 WEB, 'To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice.' Lord, we ask that those who have caused harm and acted unjustly be brought to account, either through discipline or removal from their positions, as Your wisdom sees fit.
Lord, we pray for the innocent who have been wrongfully targeted, harassed, tortured, or even murdered. Comfort them, Lord, and bring them the justice they deserve. As it is said in Psalm 103:6 WEB, 'Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed.'
We pray that You would raise up godly and righteous leaders within the police force, leaders who will act with integrity, justice, and compassion, regardless of race or background. In Jesus' name, we pray for a miracle in August 2024, that significant changes will occur, bringing glory to Your name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers. Remember, in Luke 18:7-8 WEB, Jesus said, "Wonโt God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is a God of justice.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Continue to call upon His name, trusting in His power and love.
