Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to ask for Your mercy and grace upon ###'s mother. We pray that You would grant her relief from all her problems and provide her with healing and strength. We ask that You would give her peace and comfort in her time of need and that You would be her refuge and strength. We thank You for Your love and compassion and ask that You would continue to be with her during this difficult time. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I’m sorry about your mother’s cancer, ###. I just said a prayer for her, asking the Lord to touch her with His healing hand, give her the relief she needs and surround her and your family with His peace. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
