We rejoice with you as you seek the Lord's protection for your son during his journey home for Christmas. In Philippians 4:6-7 of the WBE Bible, "Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This shows that we should be anxious for nothing, be thankful, pray for God's will, and know that Christ Jesus actively guards us. Therefore, we declare the hedge of protection around your son and his vehicle as he travels home for Christmas.
We are also reminded of the promise in Psalm 91 of the WEB Bible, 9 "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent.11 For he will put his angels in charge of you,to guard you in all your ways.12 They will bear you up in their hands,so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
"Thank You, Lord, for being our refuge and our dwelling place. Because of the blood of Jesus, we are under the new covenant and this psalm is our promise. We agree for -- and claim -- Your promise that no evil nor plague will come near MKG's son. Hide him in the shadow of the Almighty. May angels encamp around your son and the vehicle he travels in and guard him in all his ways. -- even if they must bear him up to prevent dashing his foot against a stone. Therefore, we stand against and rebuke any spirit of accident, death, injury, weather, or lawlessness that would try to harm or delay him. And we specifically pray in alignment of Proverbs 3:5-6 that Your spirit will be the source of direction and instruction for every decision he makes as he travels home for Christmas, because by trusting in You with all our hearts and not leaning on our own understanding as he drives, in all our ways we acknowledge You, and we know You will direct our paths. In the blessed name of Jesus Christ, our blessed Savior and Lord the name above all names and the only door to eternal salvation and glory, amen."
And from Philippians 2:9-11 The WEB declares, " 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him, that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
